  • motion blur not accurate

    Hello,

I'm working on an image with a light that has a very long trail of motion blur effect. The problem is that this trail becomes jagged and doesn't follow the animation I made. I increased the motion blur steps and also the frame rate of the animation but with no luck. Can somebody tell me if this is fixable or that 32 steps is the upper limit for Fstorm?

    Thanks.

    Hi

    Sorry for the delay.
Yes, 32 samples is the currect limit. I didn't expect somebody would need more.

I am going to improve motion blur anyway and will try to extend the limit.

      Hi,

Not a problem, Im still working on the project.
That's what I feared. Having more steps would be nice to have, in situations like this it's very useful and I can imagine people would need it in other types of long exposure shots.

Is there any timeframe on when this would be available? I'm also very much looking forward to when light inclusion work is done! Is there any timeframe on that as well?
