  • How much vram/ram needed to rendering 500Mb dispmap?

    I have a GTX1080 with 6GB vram, and 16GB ram. If i try to rendering a displacement map with a 506Mb TIF (23040x11520 px) the RT crashes.
    What is the minimum i need to render it?

    Reduced image to 268M by PNG conversion but same issue.

      You have to buy some GPU with 12 or 24 Gbs of memory.
