Yeah, SSS is a "noise generator". It makes much more noise, due to the very large color mixture.
About your last renders. Really nice, but the paper deformation looks like fabric deformation.
Thanks Sylk,
Regarding the paper sheet, I tried to simulate the large, thick ones, used to plot the final architectural drawings.
Maybe I've overdone the stiffness
For the following image I performed a new lighting, material & rendering of an existing scene.
The original modeling was done by Hamidreza Goli ( http://www.fstormrender.ru/forum/for...2918-raspberry )
Hope you like it.
Hello guys,
Here I used one of Evermotion ArchInterior scenes to test the new Displacement feature.
It works really fine, and the rendering speed with Displacement seem quite high
very nice work;
- reflections on the floor look somewhat wavy
- with the white strip/wall reflection the kitchen almost appears as a separate image (showed it to a friend and he thought it was two images)
Thanks antonyebl for your comment
The wavy reflection of the floor is intentional, to make it not to be perfect and flat. I used an FStormNoise in the bump slot.
Regarding the split in the middle of the image, I totally agree with you. Maybe I'd better assign a dark material to the cabinet-side and the thin wall
