  • Gamma adjustment when saving the picture ?

    I have some small problems with gamma, when I made the fstorm in the render window, it is darker than that I record in image format. How to achieve obtain visited the faithful rendering window which will be recorded?

    I found the solution to my problem fstorm if it can serve others ... so go to the currentdefaults.ini file and change the line:

    (C: users \ AppData \ Local \ Autodesk \ 3dsmax \ 2016 to 64 bits \ enu \ en-us \ defaults)

    OutputGamma = 2.200000
    and put OutputGamma = 1.000000

    Yes, that's it.
    Another way to export the same image displayed in fstorm framebuffer is to check the "override" button in the saving image dialog box and put a 2.2 gamma value.
    you'll get a correct gamma/exposure render. see attached jpeg.
