        • Just shaved 2:08 off my previous time by increasing my GPU clock (I previously reduced my WindForce OC to stock 780Ti clocks for stability. Now they are back to original manufacturers clocks, but the mem clock is still reduced to 3000MHz).

because production render time includes scene compilation as well.

                • Hello everybody!

                  I made a test today:

                  Render version: 1.2.4d
                  Config: 2 x GTX 1080Ti 2x GTX TITAN

                  Driver: 398.11

Going to update to 1.2.5 and Nvidia driver right now

                    • Hello,
Was testing this benchmark with :
                      3x 1080ti
                      2:18min

                      Looks fast to me

Time with 1.2.5b was just under a minute slower. That's a huge improvement! :O

                            • It seems that people are using different methods for bench-marking. I, and others, use the non-RT (production render) for bench-marking while others use the RT renderer. The latter should give you faster times because it doesn't factor in the scene pre-processing.

This confuses the benchmarks as everyone should be using the same method, either RT or non-RT.

Andrey (@Karba), can you weigh-in on this please: were the original benchmark times RT or production render times? What do you recommend we use for more accurate benchmarks? Cheers!
