  • Volume fog test

    I made some tests with volume fog. on the first image I modified original scene and added noise to smoke proxy.

    On the second image I made some test with winter forest and conifer trees.

    As for me volume fog is working, but need some adjustments. First of all - falloff of density inside volume fog proxy. Now we have sharp boundary between volume with fog and without.

    Second - it would be great to have procedural density map

    Looking good, cant wait to try. falloff in refract can fix the sharp edge?

      I would love to have a procedural densitymap for Fog, too!
      Like in VRay

      I tried to fix the sharp edge in a scene of mine with an falloff in the refraction channel but it didnt work out
