  • Volumetric scattering

    Hi!
I`ve noticed that volumetric scattering doesnt work in case of camera is inside the volume =(
In addition, some strange darkening is observed at the area of the volume covers the lightsource.
    See the images below.

hope, this will be fixed in future releases.

i may be wrong, but general idea is that all light should be inside the volume

I have tested several setups, including one single lightsource inside the volume. It doesnt work properly if camera is inside the volume as well. =(

        1) there is no way to produce sss effect with camera inside.
        2) what is ray depth value?

          1) Just a little objection. Corona, vRay, ARION, and one renderer which is forbidden to pronounce have this feature. I`m not familiar with the code, so the engine itself could be different...
          2) I tried 4 to 12 ray depth, yet I tried the default settings.

        1) Just checked with Corona. SSS material looks completely different if you put camera inside.
        2) Please send me the scene. info@fstormrender.com

Corona has environmental fog/medium which is great, no messing around with material and geometry based mediums, but it still has those options too.
