  • Normap map problem

Update (26.11.2016): I had time so I did a test. After several ways I tried without luck. There are bad looking artifacts after I'm using a normal map. Those glitch under the nose clearly see without the normal map too. - Not FStorm's problem) In Arnold and Octane there is no issues.

    Thanks for the help.

You can download the whole scene (sorry for the file size): https://www.dropbox.com/s/6x9o6p85kx...l_map.zip?dl=0

In fact, this problem is not the normal map, this is a problem in fstorm, as the mode is off the normal map the problem remains in the same place.
And besides, the topology of your model is not at the best level. This can be seen in the picture, where I chose your polygons in "Face selected" mode. At the head of the same story =) Overlapped faces also present, but they have no problem fstorm like.

My first thing in the morning was to see the same scene in Max and Octane. C4D handles well the problematic polygons but Max isn't. So the nose thing is clearly not FStorm related. Everything else is fine in Max/Octane. But what about those weird artifacts?

PS: I updated the first post.
