  • FMA mode ON/OFF

    Hi Karba,

I'm really sad, i can't install the new FStorm versions because now they need the CPU supports FMA instructions.

My CPU is an old i7 2600kOC and it still works nicely, with RTX4090, FStorm works very well.
FStorm advantage is we just need to upgrade our GPU to run it better. No need to have the best CPU. Until now...

So, i understand your want to make FStorm better, but couldn't be possible to keep support for non FMA CPUs, please ? very please!
Maybe by an auto select mode (using fma only if supported, else just run as previous versions), or release 2 versions, one for FMA, other for non FMA.

GPU is used only for rendering. Most preparation steps are done on CPU. Sometime such steps take more time than actual rendering. This is why I have to use any possible ways for speeding up scene compilation.
