  • screen mapping+matte shadow material+Render Elements

    1) when i upload jpeg image sequence(not hdri) and I want to see it properly i need to apply screen mapping
    2) infinite matte shadow plane , also the ability to control the shadow , soft or sharp
    3) to convert mental ray material to FStorm
    4) if the vram on your gpu run out FStorm can use your cpu vram
    5) Render Elements:
    Z Depth
    Diffuse
    Reflections
    Self Illumination
    Translucency
    Transparency
    Environment
    Caustics
    Normal

    1) I don't get it. Please explain in details.
    2) I will add shadow catcher option. Change the light size for sharp/soft shadows.
    3) mental ray is not very popular and has a whole bunch of materials. This is a lot of work.
    4) Not in near future.
    5) I will add render elements later.

      1) There are four types of environment coordinates in 3ds max :

      •Spherical

      •Cylindrical

      •Shrink-Wrap

      •Screen

      •if u can add Screen coordinates to FStorm bitmap____. this is necessary for jpeg sequence


      3) to convert mental ray material to FStorm - - i meant only the basic arch and design material - basic Features like diffuse map , Reflection , cutout (opacity map)
      it's not that important if it's too much of a hassle
