  • "Exclude" for Gray Material

    Dear Karba,

    At first, thank you for the great engine, boosting the workflow in our office, in terms of speed and quality.
    While interior lighting with the Gary Material feature, I need to exclude glass objects on windows to let the light in.
    Would you please consider this feature as well?

    I will use another way. I will add some extra options like replace reflections/refractions/diffuse/opacity and others.
    So you can switch off refraction override and have initial refractions.

      Thats good news, thats the kind of thing I was after.
      Just curious is and exclude object a hard thing to do on gpu ? can't if be done before it gets transferred to the GPU ?

        Thanks Karba; that would be awesome
        Actually from my own point of view, one of the most interesting advantages of FStorm over VRay, Octane, ... is its "simplicity" in terms of parameters and use (besides the impressive quality)
        Of course if there's need for a new feature or parameter, it must be added to improve the engine, and I'm sure your consideration reaches the best solution.
        But anyway, the request is : "Please keep it as simple as possible"
