  • Camera output override

    Hi,

i think the ability to set independent resolutions for cameras would be a good feature
also an in camera output path would be good too

    for example:

    fscamera001 - 2000x2000
    fscamera002 - 3000x2000

and so on, it could be integrated directly in camera via a specific rollout like a "output override" rollout

what do you think about it?

    thanks

    Hi,

Why not. Anyway States/Camera Sequencer can do it.
    Software: FStormRender: 1.5.0h | Drivers NV: 456.71 | 3dsMax: 2020.3 | Windows: 10 x64
    Hardware: Gpu: GTX1080 Phoenix GLH | Cpu: i7-2600k@4.5GHz | Ram: 16GB | SSD: Samsung 860 Pro

sure it can be but it's a totally different approach and to me more practical-logical and 2016 like

It is possible only for RT mode. production render can't use custom resolution.

I agree, I like the idea of having scenes dependent by Camera as an option. Its something I think 3dsmax would have to sort out.

State sets don't record everything ,which is a big problem, I've been on the 3dsmax beta for a long time now and have requested the time of day on the physical sun be recorded.
Too this day it still doesn't.
