The message window asking for closing RT should be an option.

Seems or does? The focus is on the OK button, use space or enter key press the OK button and close RT window.Originally posted by Matttrebor View Postspace key seems to close the message, not the RT.Software: FStormRender: 1.5.0h | Drivers NV: 456.71 | 3dsMax: 2020.3 | Windows: 10 x64

I have to agree, this message annoys the heck out of me, ' yes, I want to close you as that's why I clicked you', scenario. It is my pet 'hate', as I open and close RT all the time.Originally posted by Matttrebor View PostI would like to have an option to close RT without prompting.
Some might find it useful - I cannot think why unless prone to mis-clicking lots and particularly on the RT window....
but it is likely to most an annoyance this prompt, and if it has to be there it should be an option to toggle prompt on and off, please.

I told this to Karba too, this is a tool, a professional tool, just imagine your DSLR asking you if you want to do this or that every time you are going to change mode or stop shooting or anything, what's wrong with a little check box in a corner of the rt window? or even in the closing msg??, I wold take even having to checked it once per work sessionLast edited by Iskánder ivp87; 12-19-2016, 01:25 PM.

Not per session, not in dialog; Closing dialog is useful for the final render but annoying during the test/settings phase. A toggle button in the RT toolbar is better than in dialog, otherwise it would be necessary to restart max to activate this security.
Of course, per session, the toggle state must be saved and restored when we reopen the RT window.Last edited by Sylk; 12-19-2016, 03:43 PM.Software: FStormRender: 1.5.0h | Drivers NV: 456.71 | 3dsMax: 2020.3 | Windows: 10 x64

I know a solution.
The confirmation message can popup if render took more than 5 minutes (or any other time, can be set in render settings) and can be considered as important.
So if you do quick test, then no message, if you do long render, then there is the message.
I will implement it this way.

yeah that's a good solution!!, if I waited for 10 minutes or so rendering something and I'm just going to close it and loose it all I don't mind to be notified and double check, and for the ones that don't want to be notified at all, they just have to put a big number, 24 h or somethingOriginally posted by Karba View PostI know a solution.
