  • Interactive rendering add forest pro

    I'd like to see forest pro updating in IR. At the moment if forest pro is set to camera, if I change cameras during IR forest pro doesn't update. It does in the viewport just not in IR.

      Yeah thats the problem, anyway to change that behaviour ? I hate saying it, but other GPU renderers do it

          it's dangerous to update in realtime Forest pack Pro stuff...too much instances that turn on-off while the camera is moving... The manual update works great

              You can always turn on manual control on Forest pro, so we can have the best of both worlds.

                I am OK to press the update button from time to time.

                Btw, my forest pack material doesn't render in FStorm. It only renders default blank material. even when I scatter an object that I just created with all fstorm mat and fstormbitmap, as long as it's in the forest pack, the material doesn't work. Is that a bug or a feature to come or I am doing it wrong?

                  I don't think Fstorm supports any other materials besides Fstorm.

                    FStorm doesn't provide full support of Forest Pack. At some point I will implement FStorm Scatter.

                        My issue is, my forest pack object only shows default grayish material, no matter whether I use FStorm mat + map, or the material that comes with forest pack library.

                          Sorry, I wrote my sentence incorrectly. was too tiered.
                          FStorm doesn't support forest pack materials. You have to assign fstorm materials to forest pack objects.
