    is it possible to have a matte shadow pass, a forward facing normals pass that preserves bump and displacement and also a regular shadow pass?

    are you talking about normals pass? it is there

    regular shadow pass
    this is a bit hard to realize at the moment

      its the matte shadow part of the image that can be outputted as a render element, i took a look at the explaination and the one vray uses https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...RayMatteShadow

      for the normals its the normals for the bump and displacements

      and ok i know they are maybe all tough to implement, the denoiser company altus recommended those passes in order to get clean denoised images, so i am hunting solutions as this where i can render for say 10 mins in fstorm big scenes and denoise, being able to cut my render times is what my real aim is
