  • Thin glass

    Hello,

Just found out about this renderer! That's a very nice software!

I have a question: Is it possible to have a thin glass material or to do that with fstorm material? I have many models that have windows with no thikness (only one plane), and using a fstorm material with refraction is not allowing the sun to pass trought the glass and the glass looks weird. It works fine with 2 planes. Maybe I'm missing something very simple?

    Opacity man.

I tried opacity, but I can't get the reflection. What I want is a transparent plane with reflection only. Corona has an option for that called thin (see image). Can you do that with opacity in fstorm? If yes, can you explain how?

Set reflection color to white, ior to 1000, and place fstorm falloff texture with ior mode to opacity slot

I'm posting a screen shot of the scene I'm playing: I made a glass material and applied in the single planes on windows. The result is very dark...

I like the result, and the noise on the window glass solves much faster.
