  • Skin shading and normal maps

Hello everyone, lately I was trying to get out the best out of fstorm to get good skin renders.
Yet I’m feeling like I’m hitting a wall here, when it gets to using normal maps for skin detailing.

Here is a quick example where I tried to match each step between fstorm and marmoset, you can see the big difference specially how fstorm is handling the light reflection,it’s looking too flat in some places and too dark in other places, and the more I increase it the more black and dark it gets,I feel like it’s too contrasty.

Am I doing anything wrong here?

    I’m using 8k Textures
