I am a beginner to FStorm(3ds) coming from VRay(3ds). I have a question about material and scene conversion that I have not been able to solve. I have been testing various Vray scenes (in this case Scenected's Genova kitchen) with the built in FStorm "scene converter." As shown in the attached renders, the scene's materials render properly in Vray (albeit in demo version) but when converted to FStorm only some of the materials maintain their correct textural quality.
Why are some materials converted correctly and others not? Does anyone have suggestions about how to correctly transfer more of the Vray scene to FStorm? Not sure why the textures behave this way.....
I feel like this dilemma may apply to may people attempting to make the conversion. Advice is much appreciated! Thank you!
