Do you think you will be able to add render selected ?
I've just finished working on a project where I used this constantly, without it I wouldn't have been able to finish the project.

Meanwhile you can select All lights + only objects you want to render, click on Isolate Selection, and launch Render.

waiting for this - object needs to receive shadows but not be visible to camera

I hope "Backface cull" will come soon.

For Archviz, to show interior from exterior view without show geometry but keep light behavior.

                Like these pix i did.

Hm, Camera clipping use for it generally...

Maybe in the second case, but not in the first case. Clipping cut all geometry on the plan. I just need to "hide" the back of specific panel(s).

What do think Front/Back texture is for ?

as bicket said, use a frontback map on a fstormmixmaterial and either set the opacity to 0 or set the ior 1.0 and refraction color white

For each temporary view i need to do? For each object? Instead just check "backface cull"?... No way. Not convenient.

What do you think "backface cull" is for? This option exists since the 3d exists. Why overload materials (and materials editor) while a dedicated option exists?

Anyway, frontback affect light behavior (see pic), not backface cull.

                            Thanks anyway for suggestions.

Thank you. It seems to work like backface culling.
