  • FStormRender for 3ds Max v1.0.1a

    FStorm is available for purchasing.

    At the moment payments are limited by Russia, ex USSR countries and Europe. Other countries will be available soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Current stable version is 1.0.1a

    Change log from 0.3.8a

    Changes:
    5-7% speedup
    real-world scale for FStormBitmap texture
    allowing negative tonemapping burn values to increase effect
    improved gpu memory management
    proper initial RT window size

    Bug fixes:
    focus picker doesn't work with displacement
    displacement crashes gpu in case of incorrect geometry
    incorrect reflection on strong bump
    wrong emission direction for mirrored instanced lights
    incorrect displacement on mirrored objects
    gpu memory leak
    vray ies power conversion sets huge values
    proxy import causing 3ds max crash in some cases
    incorrect import/export of huge proxy file
    environment doesn't reflect bitmap changing sometimes
    sun north direction doesn't work

    This build requires 3ds Max version 2014 - 2017, GPU with CUDA support and compute model 2.0 or higher. https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus

                Paypal please! is the safer and more convenient way for online and recurrent payments.
                I had my credit card hacked because other online payment methods

                  I guess we need a feature to stop tiling when needed. Like setting black or white for the when tiling is turned off.

                      and could you please(!) add a timer for the render like in V-Ray Progressive Mode so that it stops rendering after the targeted time? (please )

                        Great to see Fstormrender growing up !
                        It would be nice to see a discount when purshasing for an entire year.
                        I think Fstormrender still lacks render element(ID, Z depth...). A commercial render engine has to feed compositing needs.

                              I asked more than once. The answer was always no. But maybe in time.

                              One of the members said earlier after a certain time the subcriber would get finally receive the actual main version of FStorm. Just like paying piece by piece. That's what I call a win-win situation. Karba, please consider this. There isn't a render engine on the market right now what had both of the right side of the coin.
